Next NY Shoe Fashion Designer

Kaoss Studios -1224

Lexi’s friends and family always joke that she would move to New York to become a shoe fashion designer when she gets older. She always had a love and passion for shoes; she already owns hundreds of pairs of shoes for any outfit she needs for the special occasion.

On Sunday April 17, 2016 Lexi turned sixteen years old. She has cerebral palsy and is in a wheelchair. Her slogan is “shoes matter, just ask Cinderella”. Beyond shoes Lexi bowls every Saturday with Community Living and has for the last seven years, so what better place to celebrate her sweet-sixteen than Marcin Bowl.

Lexi wanted her friends and family to provide shoes for children in need, so kids could put miles and miles on a pair of running shoes, splash in summer puddles with sandals or even a nice pair of flats.

Lexi’s request for no gifts and only shoes to be gifted was successful with 82 pairs of shoes. Way to go Lexi you’re a Smash Hit!

Thank you for your generosity,

Sarnia, Ontario – On April 30, 2016, Lambton Mall is presenting the movie Free Willy at Cineplex to raise funds for local charity Noelle’s Gift. Each year, Lambton Mall organizes a variety of charitable events with proceeds donated to a charity within the local community. These events, along with local business sponsorships, focus on enriching the lives of children, and form the basis of Lambton Mall’s Community IMPACT program. Lambton Mall is excited to announce that this year’s benefactor is Noelle’s Gift.

Noelle’s Gift was created to honor fallen teacher Noelle Paquette and her love for children. Designed to provide assistance for children and their families in need or crisis in their school communities, without delay or red tape, Noelle’s Gift has funded nearly $300,000 in community programs since 2013.

This year’s Community IMPACT fundraising events also include a Spring Fashion Show at Lambton Mall on Thursday April 14, an outdoor kid’s “Patio Party” on Saturday, May 28, and a hike relay by a team of Lambton Mall employees on Wednesday June 15, 2016. Over the past four years, Lambton Mall’s dedicated team has raised nearly $20,000 for local charities.

Air Time – Flash of Fitness

As much as we long for warmer spring weather; a sunflower will still blossom mid-summer and that can’t be rushed, so for now we’re in ‘air time’ until that touch of warmth relieves us from the soft winter we just had. Sunflowers are destine to reach the sky very soon.

Speaking of air time; TV Cogeco will be flashing our upcoming Noelle’s Gift of Fitness annual event from April 11th – April 16th on their Sports File. The show airs Tuesday @8pm, Wednesday @9pm and Friday @6pm and 9pm.

Happy Birthday Grace!

Grace learned a big lesson during her birthday. Her parents educated her on the importance of giving back to “the less fortunate” prior to her birthday. At a young age Grace quickly made a decision to pass on personal gifts to herself and suggest that money be donated to Noelle’s Gift. Grace’s parents said that her excitement was uncontrollable leading up to her Birthday and of course they were proud.

Well Nolle’s Gift is proud of Grace for understanding the importance of ‘giving back’ and she is already a ‘smash hit’ in our books!

We would like all of Grace’s friends know that we appreciate your financial donation and that Grace is ecstatic about donating $635 to Noelle’s Gift. Your birthday gifts to her will last longer then a gift of a new pair of shoes or fancy poster. Grace’s dedication and excitement has put smiles on many faces. Noelle’s Gift considers you an angel! Be proud of yourself Grace. Do not stop helping people around you, you’re going to be a positive roll model your whole life!
